Let’s show you what a 7 day journey can mean to a patient.

Real stories from real patients. Watch the amazing story of Kanika Callaway talking about how the D5 Ultra Express Implant Solution gave her back her smile.

Lets go over the protocol for the D5 Ultra Express All Zirconia Pro in one week (from date of surgery)

  • Custom Design & Records Visit

At the pre-operative appointment, our smile experts help develop the perfect smile to match your face. Digital records are taken. This is the vist that we help give you the smile you’ve always dreamed of!

  • Surgery and Records

Teeth are extracted if needed, implants are placed and digital post operative records are taken. This appointment is usually around three and a half hours. We use the latest pain control protocols for our patients.

  • Tryin of Custom 3D-Printed Teeth

The very next morning we insert these teeth for three reasons.

    1. To make sure you really like the design of your new smile, if you would like any changes we note and change to ensure you like your new smile.
    2. We do full bite adjustment on the teeth, scan and incorporate this when milling the final teeth. This means very little adjusting is needed when we insert your permanent teeth.
    3. You go home with these teeth until final teeth are inserted 5 days later.

  • Insertion of Permanent, All Ziroconia Teeth in 7 Days (from date of surgery)

For many, years of suffering from many broken, missing or failing teeth or ill-fitting dentures are eliminated. Your beautiful, all zirconia teeth look, feel and function much like your natural teeth.

  • Value

When we implemented our D5 Teeth digital protocol into our offices over the traditional 2-step method that usually takes many visits and months to do (we used for years), it allowed us to greatly reduce our fees and patient time.

Complete upper & lower all zirconia teeth at D5 Teeth1 Week All Zirconia Teeth - D5 Teeth

We save many patients $15,000 or more to complete an upper and lower zirconia case compared to many traditional teeth in a day centers with D5's digital approach and exclusive protocols.

High cost of gas and inflation - D5teeth offers only 3 visits over 1 week for permanent zirconia teeth

Worried about the high cost of gas and inflation?

D5teeth has you covered. At D5teeth centers nationwide, in 3 visits over one week, we offer permanent zirconia teeth vs. up to 20 visits driving to a typical implant center over the course of a year. With our special pricing and digital technology, we consistently save patients $15-30,000. There will never be a better opportunity for permanent, all zirconia teeth than right now!
At every other implant center in this city - You may receive a temporary, converted denture on the day of surgery. Or the next day, usually within about 18 hours of surgery, some form of printed plastic teeth. These 3D plastic teeth are many times just plastic (PMMA). You'll be stuck wearing some form of temporary teeth for approximately 4 to 12 months. They can be weak, bulky, and prone to breakage.
Typical implant centers charge significantly more than D5teeth!

Considering Nuvia? Think again.

They only give patients temporary plastic (PMMA) in 24 hours!

D5teeth - permanent zirconia teeth in 7 days.*
Nuvia implant center - temporary teeth in 24 hours. Thousands more.

Shocking Fact!

Nuvia can only give patients temporary plastic (PMMA) bar teeth in 24 hours! Because PMMA is so soft and wears so quickly when chewing, no PMMA has United States Food and Drug Administration approval to use in permanent teeth. Not one. Adding a titanium bar does not change this. And believe it or not, most PMMA materials don't have approval by the FDA to use for more than 1 year.
D5teeth - For many, our patients receive true permanent custom zirconia teeth in just 7 days (from surgery). Zirconia is the only ceramic specifically approved by the FDA for full arch, screw retained implant bridges. Zirconia is dentistry's strongest and most durable ceramic.

Another Shocking Fact!

At many Nuvia offices that we called, they give patients zirconia teeth 4-6 months later with up to 6 more visits. One office told us you get 2 sets of permanent teeth and the second set is free! Does this sound like what their website or videos say?
We cannot find one sentence on Nuvia's website where you're told you have to come back months later with up to 6 more visits to get permanent zirconia teeth. Just remember for many, at D5 centers you could have been done in around 7 days.

Facts on what Nuvia really gives patients in 24 hours!

Nuvia Implants - claims vs reality

Nuvia claims it can eliminate up to 5-10 appointments over traditional implant centers.

Is this a true statement?

After implant surgery, Nuvia in 2 visits delivers only temporary plastic PMMA teeth-to-bar restorations that a material that has FDA approval for only temporary use up to 1 year. At many Nuvia offices, from our calls, they say they give patients permanent zirconia teeth up to 4-6 months later with around 6 more visits.

Nuvia false claims vs. reality

VS. D5teeth

D5teeth - 7 Day Approach to Permanent Zirconia Teeth!

Just remember:
permanent = final = definitive

(According to the American Dental Association)

Permanent means the final definitive restoration. It's obvious that plastic teeth only approved for temporary use don't meet the above terms.

The question to ask yourself if you could, would you rather have permanent custom zirconia teeth for many in 7 days at D5teeth centers and maybe save thousands over Nuvia or in 2 visits at Nuvia receive temporary plastic teeth?

What we found at Nuvia's Atlanta office. Hint - unless you pay extra they give patients plastic PMMA-to-bar temporary teeth and you're done.

Temporary Teeth

What is the official American Dental Association's definition of permanent teeth?

Once you know this you will understand why D5teeth gives many patients permanent zirconia teeth in 7 days (from surgery) and Nuvia only gives patients temporary or long term provisionals in 24 hours!

(Prices subject to change)

Based on an infomercial Nuvia emailed to us (you can request this for yourself) and multiple calls to their offices, we may save patients thousands of dollars! Actually maybe over $10,000 on a full upper and lower case. Please do your own research. Call them and ask what is included in their fee.

Is this ad purposely trying to deceive unwitting consumers?

You decide!

A copy of a Nuvia ad

Copy of Nuvia AdCopy of Nuvia Ad
From multiple phone calls to Nuvia we've been told patients receive PMMA (plastic) to a bar restoration in two visits over two days. According to the American Dental Association's codes, PMMA is only temporary teeth - no PMMA has FDA approval to use in permanent teeth.

Direct quote from Nuvia:

“Just 24 hours after your implant screws are placed, you get a custom milled amazing set of zirconia dental implants.”
If you understand correct dental terminology this is an absurd claim. You can decide if it was purposely designed to lure and deceive unwitting consumers into choosing Nuvia Implant Centers.

Claims versus reality

If you go to any implant center we know, on the first day dental implants are placed not screws. The correct terminology from the ADA and codes used to bill the insurance company is dental implant not screw. Why are we being so picky about the correct terminology? Because on the second day Nuvia is claiming you get a custom milled, amazing set of zirconia dental implants".
Think about this, Nuvia is claiming they give patients two sets of implants over two days. Obviously they don't do this. You decide. Is Nuvia trying to deceive patients, that on the second day they are really receiving permanent zirconia teeth

In the third paragraph they state:

“Our in-house lab will mill your new set of teeth completely custom to match the implant screws placed in your mouth.”
Just remember the ad said on first day screws placed and then the lab milled amazing fitting set of zirconia dental implants inserted the next day. By the third paragraph they now are apparently calling the zirconia implants, "teeth". We know this is not true. Nuvia patients (from phone calls we have placed), received plastic PMMA temporary teeth the next day not zirconia.

We believe the deception of the above ad continues into the 4th paragraph, YOU DECIDE!

“Not only does this get rid of the extra appointments temp dentures require, it can shorten the entire process down by up to 6 – 10 months!”
Now if an uninformed consumer believed in just 24 hours when you get a custom milled amazing set of zirconia dental implants this means “Teeth" like the third paragraph in the ad the above paragraph would be true. But we know this is not the case. You receive, from phone calls we made, PMMA (Plastic) to a titanium bar temporaries.

Then from multiple calls to many Nuvia office you come back 4 – 6 months later with up to 6 more visits to receive zirconia teeth. We were also told by multiple offices you have to come back to receive zirconia teeth it’s included in the fee.

The question we asked if permanent means the final definite restoration and supposedly Nuvia gives you permanent teeth in 24 hours, why do you have to come back months later with many more visits to get a second set of permanent teeth?

How is it possible to pay these salaries?

Nuvia Google Ad For SurgeonNuvia Google Ad For Surgeon
Could it be that if you had a marketing plan where you told everyone you’d be done in 2 visits it would give you such an overwhelming, competitive advantage to lure unwitting consumers that it can make it possible to pay an oral surgeon $1 million+ dollars a year working only 4 days a week because you’re convincing people you can do permanent teeth in 24 hours when it really takes 6 months? You decide.

D5teeth was approached by Ivoclar/Ivotion - a leading manufacturer of PMMA pucks, software and milling machines that can be used to make the PMMA/bar restoration Nuvia gives patients in 24 hours. They wanted to see if D5teeth wanted the ability to offer a lower cost alternative to premium zirconia restorations.

We simply asked one key question to this company. Is a PMMA/bar restoration screwed into implants approved with FDA 510 clearance for use as a permanent restoration?

Key Answer

From the highest level of management from Ivoclar came a confidential email with pictures what their PMMA/bar restoration has approval for use as a permanent restoration. The answer from Ivoclar/Ivotion is only removable tissue-based restorations. Now remember, this is one of the main international corporations that have developed these kind of restorations to mill. The PMMA/bar does not have FDA approval for use in permanent teeth. It's just that simple.

Consider This

We have patients that have gone to Nuvia saying they are being quoted about $48k for upper and lower plastic (PMMA/bar teeth). For $34,500 you can have upper and lower zirconia teeth at D5 centers and have real permanent teeth.

Base and denture (complete tooth arch are approved for “dentures on a bar”).

Here are photos we received showing what restorations have U.S. FDA approval to mill as Nuvia does for use as a permanent restoration. Note - They are all removable tissue-based plugins or over-dentures, not fixed screw retained teeth that Nuvia gives patients in 24 hours.

D5teeth vs Nuvia®

Nuvia® Dental Implant Centers*

  • Day 1 - Surgery & records
  • Day 2 - Insertion of PMMA to titanium bar restoration - no PMMA has approval to use as permanent teeth according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. (according to phone call with Nuvia)
  • 4–6 months later - at many offices you actually do receive permanent zirconia teeth with up to 6 more visits. The Atlanta office said you're actually done in 2 visits over 24 hours with a PMMA to titanium bar and you can receive zirconia teeth with an up-charge. (according to phone call with Nuvia)
  • FEE - According to 30 minute infomercial from Nuvia®, their fee may be $10-15k higher than D5teeth for complete upper and lower zirconia teeth.
  • * Information in on our comparisons to Nuvia® is based on website, 30 minute infomercial they emailed us and multiple phone calls to different Nuvia® offices. We cannot guarantee these comparisons are 100% accurate or how their current process may have changed since our phone calls. We strongly recommend you do your own research. Here is Nuvia® Smiles' main number: 866-366-8777.

Key questions we believe consumers should ask Nuvia® Dental Implant Centers

1.) What do I receive as a restoration in 24 hours?

Just know only 2 ceramics in puck form that are suitable for milling have FDA 510 approval for use as permanent teeth. Zirconia and nanoceramic. If a center tells you PMMA can be used in permanent teeth, ask them if they can show you the FDA 510 clearance approving this material for this use, permanent teeth. Again, no PMMA has 510 clearance for use in permanent teeth.

2.) When do I really receive permanent zirconia teeth that indeed does have FDA 510 clearance for use as permanent teeth?

When we called we were told around 6 months with 5 or 6 more visits at a fee possibly $10-15k higher than D5teeth.

Important consumer information

Here is a clip from a Nuvia video showing a PMMA overlay being built. This clip is showing a system that can mill a puck of PMMA that has the tooth color and pink combined as Nuvia is showing. We do not know what actual milling system Nuvia is using in this clip. The relevant point is the puck of PMMA that is being milled.

Please look at this clearance sheet. When you mill this kind of PMMA 2 color (or 2 stage) puck it only has clearance for dentures and removable plugin dentures. Notice you don't see permanent screw retained teeth.

Tom is really receiving a temporary set of teeth with a material that only has approval to use for temporary teeth.

More consumer information

If you or someone you know has received plastic (PMMA) bar implant bridges and have been told they are final permanent teeth, these patients may be entitled to substantial compensation and legal redress. D5teeth is a non-attorney spokesperson. However, based on our research with top regulatory attorneys this is what we have been told:

1.) The only way possibly a center can say PMMA / bar teeth are permanent final restoration is if in the patient's chart and clearly in writing notifying patient, that when the FDA 510 clearance for the timeframe the PMMA is approved for use which is usually in the 1-2 year range, the implant center agrees for the life of the patient to redo for free, the plastic overlay. Even then we've been told this still may not mean patient is getting permanent teeth according to the FDA.

2.) Dentists may be subject to state board sanctions for fraudulently telling patients temporary or long term provisionals are permanent teeth.

2a.) Patients can seek legal damages individually for fraudulently being told restorations that do not use an FDA 510 cleared material for permanent teeth is being used which only has FDA 510 clearance for temporary teeth or long term provisionals.

2b.) If patients banded together, it could be possibly a large class action lawsuit against centers marketing and charging patients for permanent definitive teeth when in reality the PMMA only has FDA 510 clearance for temporary teeth or long term provisionals. Patients could be entitled for actual damages and punitive damages.

We feel so comfortable at what D5teeth offers.

Both D5teeth and Nuvia® Dental Implant Centers offer free consultations with x-rays. We urge you to do a consultation at each center and find out 2 critical things.

  • When do I receive real permanent zirconia teeth?
  • What is the cost?

We think you'll find that we may save $10-15k on a complete upper and lower case and months of your valuable time going to the dentist.

Why is there such a stunning difference in cost and times between D5 and many Teeth In a Day Centers?

And why do these centers make you wear temporary teeth for up to a year?

One of the main reasons are the requirements of the
Immediate Load.

Understanding Immediate Load
Your Whole Procedure is Based on this.

Implant research shows we only have around 14 days after surgery to splint implants together. It doesn’t matter if it’s temporary or permanent teeth.

After this limited time, if you are still taking impressions or doing procedures that cause movement to unhealed implants this can cause high implant failure. These movements may cause bone cells that are growing into the unhealed implants to die and cause the implants to fail. This is why for over 30 years patients have been required to usually wear temporaries for up to a year at most teeth in a day implant centers. Most of these centers back then and to this day don't have the ability to make permanent teeth in this limited timeframe.

D5teeth nationwide implant centers revolutionized this 30 year old teeth in a day analog procedure by combining state of the art surgery centers with a 24-hour, advanced design and digital, in-house milling center with exclusive software and proprietary digital protocols developed over 7 years. This has allowed D5teeth Implant Centers to now have helped thousands of patients across the country receive permanent, zirconia teeth in around 7 days.

Offices with no labs or small labs without our digital protocols usually have no ability to design and fabricate zirconia teeth in this limited 14 day window. This is why their patients have to wear either plastic, converted temporary dentures or now 3D-printed teeth. When you do your research, for the privilege of wearing plastic temporaries for 4-6 months, in many cases, their patients pay $15k-25,000 more!

Our digital technology has allowed dramatic cost savings to patients. Our doctors months later after healing don't have to spend multiple visits over months fabricating permanent teeth for patients like other centers. This is why we're able to save many patients thousands of dollars and also months of their time going to the dentist.

D5 digital approach versus denture based traditional teeth in a day

We feel D5 Teeth is the 21st century digital re-invention of teeth in a day. Learn how you may save months of your valuable time and thousands of dollars.
(Detailed disclaimer at bottom of page.)

D5 Immediate load technique vs. Teeth In a Day centers using 3D weak plastic temporaries you have to wear for months

Because our D5 laboratory works 3 shifts 24 hours a day, within 7 days, our patients receive permanent zirconia teeth to splint implants together during healing. We developed D5 protocols so our patients would not have to wear inexpensive weak 3D plastic temporaries or converted acrylic dentures that may bend and flex during healing process.

Consider if we break a bone, doctors will place a hard cast so the bone does not move. The more stable the bone the better it will heal. The analogy in implants is by splinting the implants within 7 days with permanent zirconia teeth at D5 centers we are taking dentistry's most rigid ceramic that will not bend and flex and this is like placing a hard cast.

We don't want to give our patients inexpensive weak 3D temporaries or converted dentures. We feel these temporaries are like using a soft wrap over a broken bone. Our patients don't have to settle for wearing printed plastic teeth with fancy names, maybe trying to camouflage what they really are... temporary teeth!

Lets Compare D5 Permanent Implant Teeth vs. Over Dentures vs. Dentures

D5 Teeth Comparison Chart

permanent implant supported teeth

  • Even under extreme biting forces no pressure on gums. Totally rigid permanent teeth.
  • Nothing covers the roof of your mouth because of strength of restoration.
  • No upper gagging issues.
  • Ultimate aesthetics because these are custom designed ceramic teeth.
  • Functions and chewing power compared to natural teeth is around a 9 out of 10 because these are implant retained teeth.
  • Implants stop or reduce further bone loss - you don't become a dental cripple years later.
  • Fee - our fee for permanent upper and lower zirconia teeth at $34,500 or $18,500 is such a great value that we find many patients we see for second opinions are almost being charged the same for overdentures!

Implant Overdentures

  • Restoration is tissue based after plugging into implants. Tight restorations because of retention of implants however, since they rest on the gum they still slightly move when you chew and you'll always feel constant pressure on your gums.
  • Around 70% of roof of mouth will be exposed because acrylic needs more bulk so it does not break.
  • No upper gagging issues.
  • Aesthetics are good but patient is downgrading to premium plastic denture teeth vs. custom ceramic teeth for the D5.
  • Function and chewing around a 6 out of 10 because the restorations are tissue based and only plug into implants that move when chewing.
  • Implants stop bone loss - you won't become a dental cripple years later.
  • At many offices can cost almost as much as our custom permanent zirconia teeth. If you are considering plug-in dentures, call us for a free consultation. We may for just a little bit more, give you permanent teeth in 7 days (from date of surgery for many).

  • Tissue based with no implant support. Restorations move and are not stable. Very little rentention. Usually upper arch has some suction, lower very difficult for many to chew.
  • Covers the entire roof of the mouth covering around 50% of all taste buds in your mouth.
  • Upper denture covering roof of mouth in many people causing them to gag or vomit.
  • Aesthetics can be good, but usually are plastic denture teeth.
  • Dentures only usually provide no more than 20% of normal chewing power. Lower dentures can almost be impossible to wear.
  • As difficult as it is to wear your first denture, as years pass and bone goes away it becomes even more difficult to chew.
  • Lower cost, but you get what you pay for.

We deliver smiles that are life like, custom designed just for you and look totally natural.

DISCLAIMER: D5 patients will be provided with a complimentary consultation. Your doctor will discuss possibilities. Assuming the patient qualifies D5 Teeth can provide permanent teeth restorations for many within 7 days of surgery. At the end of 7 days, final permanent teeth are made of durable zirconia approved by the FDA for permanent use and meet ADA coding standards for permanent final teeth. Unlike permanent prosthesis which can only be used temporarily, permanent prosthesis are FDA approved to last for the duration of the patient's life. In order to manufacture permanent zirconia teeth, sophisticated technology is required for the surgery center and laboratory. This technology is expensive to obtain, maintain, and operate. For these reasons, most centers out-source milling and designing permanent teeth, thus requiring much more than a week to produce. We are proud to feature Prettau® 2 Dispersive® zirconia from Zirkonzahn, which according to the manufacturer is the most expensive zirconia produced for full arch dentistry in the world based on their research. When we say most centers charge $15-25k more and do your research, this is based on D5 calling multiple offices in Jacksonville, Chicago, Atlanta and Orlando besides many other offices in cities not mentioned. And also based on the number of patients coming to our office for 2nd opinions and showing us their treatment plans. Our research shows the average fee range for complete upper and lower zirconia teeth including sedation, all needed extractions, all bone graphs except sinus lifts, all implants and final restoration is between $48k and $75k. When we say possibly the only surgical center in this city, this is based on extensive research that consisted in calling every center listed on Google and marketing they do full arch dentistry. We also called every oral surgeon and periodontist in the first coast area and asked, are you able to insert permanent zirconia teeth in 7 days from surgery? It is possible we missed some offices not marketing full arch dentistry that possibly could do this procedure but highly unlikely due to the extreme nature of the search we did.
